We are Richard and Davide, the creative minds behind Artevivente. Our story began almost by chance, on a Facebook page dedicated to orchid enthusiasts, where an exchange of comments sparked a friendship and a shared project. Tired of seeing plants relegated to sterile artificial settings, we decided to set them free, recreating natural habitats for them in a design key.

Our Team

Richard Culatti: With a background as a chef and a passion for bonsai, tropical plants and orchids, Richard has specialized in indoor cultivation and the use of innovative materials and substrates, in correlation with microorganisms, for optimal plant growth.

Davide De Martino: An artist and gardener who is passionate about herbalism and specializes in mosses and orchids, Davide studies the symbiosis between plants to recreate self-sustaining natural habitats that are accessible to even the most inexperienced.

Together, we combine our expertise to offer innovative solutions that exploit the synergy between plants, mycelia, and bacteria, using organic fertilizers and probiotics for healthy substrates and optimizing the use of light, ventilation, and humidification to recreate the ideal environment.

At Artevivente, we believe that plants are living beings, not mere furnishing accessories. We want to raise awareness of the importance of greenery for mental and physical well-being and promote a more conscious and respectful approach to nature. Several scientific studies have demonstrated the many benefits of contact with nature for mental and physical well-being. Green has a calming effect on the mind, reduces stress and promotes concentration. In addition, plants help improve air quality by absorbing carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. Therefore, creating an environment rich in greenery means investing in one’s own well-being and that of the people around us.
